Michael Lohan, father of young gossip magnet and self-proclaimed bi-sexual Lindsay Lohan, is obviously not pleased with his daughter’s love interest, club DJ Samantha Ronson. He had recently attacked the sister of award-winning music producer Mark Ronson, calling her a ‘parasite.’ In a recent interview, Michael—who has been very vocal in the past about his distaste for his daughter’s gay relationship—has stated that Samantha has refused to let Lindsay spend time with the rest of the Lohan family over the holiday period.

Michael sees Samantha as a bad influence, saying: “”I was prompted to do this by people who know the truth and were tired of people slamming me for standing up for what is right.

“Sure, I made mistakes, but I paid the price and I am trying my best to turn it all around. The same thing I hope for Lindsay and anyone else, on any level, in her position.

“I remained silent for quite a long time but when Sam prompted Lindsay to write that blog and kept her away from her siblings during Christmas – that was the final straw.”

Michael appears to be particularly infuriated with Samantha due this alleged blog entry that Samantha wrote on Lindsay’s MySpace page. The blog entry was said to have contained very sharp and bitter commentary against Michael, mentioning the fact that he was the father of an illegitimate 14-year-old daughter.

“I am 99 per cent certain that Lindsay’s blog was authored by Samantha,” Michael insisted.

Besides calling the 31-year-old DJ a ‘parasite,’ he also called her a ‘dark, hideous and a disgusting representation of humanity.’

Besides being younger sis to Mark, Samantha is also the twin sister of fashion designer Charlotte Ronson, and the step-daughter of Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones, and co-owns the New York City nightclub The Plumm. In a December 2008 interview, Lindsay herself declared their lesbian relationship public, stating: “I think it’s pretty obvious who I’m seeing… I think it’s no shock to anyone that it’s been going on for quite some time… She’s a wonderful person and I love her very much.”

Thanks to fake lesbian love, Samantha Ronson has been raking in the dineros. The club DJ and sister to hit music producer Mark Ronson and fashion designer Charlotte Ronson, used to receive $1500 a night, but she now brings in $25,000 a night thanks to her very famous and very special friend Lindsay Lohan. This makes her yearly income a whopping $3 million a year; not too shabby for sticking to a relationship full of intrigue and conflict.

“While Sam never contractually agrees that Lindsay will show up to her shows, promoters, owners and publicists all know that if you book Sam, there’s a high likelihood Lindsay will also show,” said an insider who happens to rub elbows with the celebrity couple. “Sam’s now asking for a lot more money to spin, and she’s getting it easily.”

Besides simply getting to see the two of them together, people also get their money’s worth seeing the two of them fight, which seems to be happening at greater and greater frequency lately. Sam has been trying to get her very own record produced, and is adamant that her Mean Girls girlfriend, who is also known for killing careers in a jiffy, not meddle during the album’s production.

At a club in Miami recently, Lohan was sulking alone in one spot and, when asked if she was doing alright, her response was, “Sam is hired to host tonight, not me.”

“They fight everyday,” a friend of theirs divulged. “It’s just jealousy and childish bickering over the fact that neither feels the other pays enough attention. While they really do love each other, this relationship will be over by March.”

There has been much speculation over how authentic their relationship is. Many have accused Lohan of pretending to be a lesbian in yet another attempt to get everyone’s attention. It seems, this time around, that Ronson has also been getting plenty of benefits in return. Besides getting exclusive rights to Lohan’s famous knockers, she also gets to be a millionaire! Whether true, lesbian love or true financial dependence will keep their flame alive, however, remains to be seen.

Proud punk parents Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson have lots of fun in the sack, apparently. “We have an amazing sex life,” brags Wentz, bassist of Fall Out Boy, during the promotion of the band’s latest album Folie a Deux. “We have such sexual chemistry. If we had been on this show last year, we’d probably be doing it in the green room right now.”

The couple, who are both newlyweds and new parents of the infamously named Bronx Mowgli, have nonetheless held off of sex since the birth of their son. “Hopefully, the kid doesn’t change it,” Wentz goes on to say. “The kid’s a few weeks old, but we do other fun stuff.”

Wentz recalls the first time he and punk singer Simpson ever did the deed. “It was at the Soho Grand Hotel in New York, and I’m looking in the mirrors, thinking, ‘Oh my God, you are [sleeping with] the girl of your dreams, and you can watch yourself!’” He confesses that it did take quite a bit of persuading to finally convince her to sleep with him. His efforts, however, were certainly not for naught, describing that moment as “the single best sexual encounter I have ever had.”

Wentz also reveals that Simpson has a penchant for lap dancing, doing so in thongs and “sexy clothes.”

Moreover, despite their current hold on lovemaking, motherhood still has its perks in the sex department, with Simpson’s breast size ballooning from a C-cup to a D. The weight she gained over the pregnancy has not been a big issue, either. She was “up to 150 [pounds]” while carrying the baby, Wentz confirms, yet “it’s dropped nicely…it’s blazing off her.”

Wentz’s sexual fantasies, however, do not apply to his sister-in-law, blonde bombshell singer Jessica Simpson. “I think of her as my sister,” he insists, adding that he could foresee a wedding between Jessica and her Dallas Cowboys quarterback beau Tony Romo. “There’s a connection there,” he says of the other couple’s relationship. “I think Jess has gone through a lot in the last couple years, and I think she’s got her head screwed on straight.”

On Tuesday night (December 16), The High School Musical 3: Senior Year co-star lovers Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were spotted taking in a Lakers game at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The couple had a nice date together at this Lakers/Knicks game. Zac Efron is a major basketball fan. He’s focused on the court and Vanessa looks thrilled throughout an intense game which saw the Lakers beat the visiting NY Knicks 116-114.

American Idol, one of the most popular reality shows on US television, will return for its 8th season with a brand spankin’ new format. Unlike the previous year’s 24 contestants, 36 emerging singers will be admitted into February’s semi-finals round, and three wild card slots—an arrangement previously used in seasons one through three—will give the judges the right to send their personal picks to the top 12 regardless of viewers’ votes. This way, genuinely talented singers are better assured of spots in the top 12 unlike in recent seasons, when relatively poorer singers got through thanks to the public’s pull.

The revival of the wild card set-up is a significant one. Highly successful Idol alumni such as Jennifer Hudson and Clay Aiken would not have gotten their big breaks were it not for their wild card status. Thus, this year, the top 12 will not be strictly comprised of six men and six women unlike in latter seasons.

The inclusion of a fourth judge in singer and record producer Kara DioGuardi will take effect next season as well, and the Hollywood round will also be extended to two full weeks. “They’re not mega-changes,” Idol’s executive producer Ken Warwick claims. “They are just little things to keep the format fresh and interesting.” Other minor modifications include the absence of charity fundraiser Idol Gives Back, which will only be revived for the 9th season, and cutting the audition round from four to three weeks to make way for the second Hollywood week.

Idol judges Paul Abdul, Randy Jackson, Simon Cowell—and now, Kara Dio Guardi—will be more brutally honest than ever before. “If the judges are mean, the judges are mean,” Warwick assures. Performers are also allowed to use instruments just like last year.

There was a 7% drop in viewers in the previous season, but Warwick asserts that the show has fared better than others. “I would be very surprised if, on this eighth series, the ratings didn’t suffer slightly, especially with this economic backdrop and the way TV audiences are going in general. I will do my best to offset that.”

On Sunday afternoon (December 14), Zac Efron arrived at girlfriend’s abode with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a large gift under his arm for Vanessa Hudgens 20th birthday.

From there, the “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” couple headed to Los Angeles eatery Stanley’s, where the co-star lovers walked arm-in-arm before being seated.

Vanessa looked classy on her black and white floral print dress overtop a pair of black stretch pants with high heeled sandals while Zac Efron looked cute on his usual Sunday garb, clad in white v-neck underneath a dark teal cardigan whith black jeans and black sneakers.
