The “Remember Me” stud topped the list for the third year in a row, thanks to over 40,000 Glamour readers who cast their vote.

Robert Pattinson’s “Twilight” costar Taylor Lautner claimed the 2nd place prize, while Johnny Depp, David Beckham, and Zac Efron rounded out the top five.

It was confirmed that Vanessa and her longtime boyfriend/ “High School Musical” costar Zac Efron decided to call it quits. According to Us Magazine, the “High School Musical” co-stars have split after spending more than three years in the spotlight together.

With their romance having started as the two were paired up as co-star leads in Disney’s “High School Musical,” a source close to the couple now claims of the breakup, “It was mutual. They have been together for so long. It just ran its course.”

And, the insider insists, “They are still talking and still friends. There’s no drama. No one cheated. They just grew up.”

Pairing up for a fun-filled day at the beach, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens kicked back with friends in Malibu, California on Sunday (July 4).

On Tuesday (September 8), Zac Efron was spotted on his way to the set of “The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud.”

The “17 Again” stud looked sporty as he enjoyed a boat ride to the film set in Vancouver, Canada, wearing a t-shirt and a pair of shorts.

Meanwhile, as for the rumors that Zac and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens are headed for a split, Efron’s rep says it’s all completely false.

Earlier this month, a supposed inside source told tabloids:

“The pressures of fame and the fact they are not working together any more has really taken its toll. They are both so busy with their individual projects and Zac finds it hard to cope with all the attention Vanessa gets from guys when he’s not around. They’re trying to make more time to see each other to work things out but right now it’s not going well.”
