The film follows a pair that investigates corruption within a banking institution. Production began in Berlin in September 2007. The International is slated to be released in North America on February 13, 2009.

Meanwhile, talking about Miss Naomi new film she recently told press:

“We didn’t want the sort of thriller that was slick and sexy, but didn’t ring true. ‘The Conversation,’ ‘Three Days of the Condor,’ ‘All the President’s Men’ were the sort of movies we were looking at and talking about before we started.”

“That’s what appeals to me, things that are about people we can relate to. Because if they ring true to me, I’m sure that they’re going to affect others, too. I think that’s why we go to the cinema—to find ourselves in someone else.”
