Gwyneth Paltrow and Joaquin Phoenix at the premiere of “Two Lovers”

On Wednesday (February 11), Gwyneth Paltrow and Joaquin Phoenix were spotted at the premiere of “Two Lovers” in New York City.

The “Shakespeare in Love” hottie was looking absolutely gorgeous in a gold shirt underneath a black cropped blazer, a pair of high-waisted belted black shorts, black stockings, and grey suede shoes as she arrived at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema for the event, presented by the Cinema Society and Salvatore Ferragamo while her “Walk the Line” costar sporting a heavy beard, black sunglasses, and an unkempt black suit and tie.

“Two Lovers” is a 2009 American drama film, loosely based on Dostoyevsky’s “White Nights” [1] starring Joaquin Phoenix, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Vinessa Shaw. It is directed by James Gray and set in Brighton Beach in New York. It premiered in competition at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival in May. This film is Gray’s third to enter the competition at this festival. It will have a limited theatrical release on February 13, 2009.
