Singer Jennifer Hudson performs during the 51st Annual Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on February 8, 2009 in Los Angeles, California.  The “Dreamgirls” singer/actress took home the Best R&B Album trophy.

And it appeared she was at a loss for words. Here’s Miss Hudson speech:

“I don’t really know what to say.  First of all, I got Whitney Houston presenting me [with my award]. Wow, I’m just in awe right now. First of all, I’d like to thank God who has brought me through. I’d like to thank my family in heaven and those who are here today… Clive Davis, Barry Weiss, everyone at Arista, [my fiance David Otunga], everybody, thank you all.”

Jennifer Hudson: Idol at the Super Bowl

The former American Idol star and Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson sings the National Anthem at Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa on Sunday evening (February 1). This is the first public appearance since her mother, brother, and nephew were murdered in their Chicago home.

The 27-year-old “American Idol” star sported a white top, cropped jacket, leggings and gold jewelry as she walked out before the game - being led up onto a small round stage where she took a deep breath before launching into the National Anthem. Fans in Tampa gave Hudson a standing ovation.
