Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, Token Annoying Couple from the MTV reality show The Hills, finally got married last Thursday, November 20. The notorious frienemy of the show’s star Lauren Conrad and her beau/manager/fiancée of several years had eloped to Mexico the previous week, and kept mum about the actual nuptials until Monday.

The two became husband and wife at the One and Only Palmilla Resort just beyond Cabo San Lucas. It was a 15-minute beachside ceremony which, according to them, wasn’t planned beforehand. They were supposedly just taking a vacay in Cabo when the urge to tie the knot got the better of them. No one from their family attended or had been informed in advance of the ceremony.

Heidi admitted that her mother Darlene, who has not been particularly favorable of Spencer, may not approve of the wedding, much less of how the deed was done.

“I called her right before the ceremony, sort of hinted that something that happened, but her reaction was to ask me if we were breaking up! I told her it might be something else, and she said, ‘Well, if you ever plan on getting married just know that your stepdad is really upset that you want your father to walk you down the aisle,’” confessed Montag.

“She was starting so much drama, it kind of pushed me toward wanting to get married without that … I don’t know when I’ll tell her.”

In keeping with his overly mushy, puppy-dog boyfriend persona, Spencer’s wedding vows dripped with pure, sugarcoated sap:

“Heidi, from the moment you came into my life, I knew my life would never be the same without you. You are the light in my life like the sun to the earth! Your loving warmth makes me want to be a better person. Being with you, I feel complete. I’m honored to even be able to call you my wife. You are the most amazing, loving and caring woman on this planet. I will love you forever and always.”

“The minute we said our vows, I couldn’t stop crying,” Heidi gushed.

At the Los Angeles premiere of “Max Payne”, the reality TV stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt worked it on the red carpet outside Mann’s Grauman Chinese Theater. It’s a big Hollywood event with lots of publicity.

After the movie Heidi and Spencer headed over to Beverly Hills eatery Mr. Chow for a delicious food dinner, posing and smiling all the way.

On Tuesday (October 2), reality TV stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt smilingly posed for photographers as they fed each other tacos in between serving up Taco Bell fare to the store’s customers to help raise awareness in support of World Hunger Relief Movement and The World Food Programme. As little as $1 donations were being taken with all proceeds raised in the U.S. going directly to The World Food Programme to help combat global hunger.
