On Thursday (September 17), Chris Brown went on day two of community service while clearing weeds in Richmond, Virginia, on what’s the first day of a six-month labor sentence.

The “Kiss Kiss” singer looked busy cleaning the grounds, sporting a reflective vest and a red cap. His first few days of work brought out reporters from all over, with law officials having to add extra protection for the pop star.

According to the Associated Press:

“The 20-year-old R&B singer worked along with two others who were serving probation, clearing tall weeds and brush by hand and with yard tools.

Additional officers were on hand, but only a few fans and television crews gathered nearby. Dressed in an orange vest, white tank top, baggy jeans and red baseball cap, Brown did not speak to the media but he waved to fans who saw him working. Brown’s schedule, including work hours and days, will be flexible, and he will be performing different types of manual labor, Richmond police spokesman Gene Lepley said…. Brown must pay for the extra guards who work while he is performing community service.”

Judge Schnegg also made it clear that she wanted Brown to do physical labor over community service - such as removing graffiti, picking up trash, washing cars and maintaining grounds.

The singer also has to go through 52-week domestic violence program by Commonwealth Catholic Charities in Virginia.”

The California judge who sentenced Brown in August granted his request to do his community labor near his home in Richmond after receiving assurances from Virginia officials that hed’ be doing hard work.

Richmond Police spokesman Gene Lepley said Brown’s schedule will be flexible and include assignments like washing government cars, picking up trash and cleaning up graffiti.

“We’ll just take a look at it day by day and certainly would ask for the cooperation of the public and Chris’ fans so that he is able to satisfy the work requirements.”

While Brown’s work hours were supposed to be secret, he clued the paparazzi in to his whereabouts Wednesday through his missives on Twitter.

“On my way to community service….” he tweeted en route to the Richmond Police stable.

“Rihanna has banned female members of his entourage from being alone with him in his room and said no girls can be there past midnight,” a source reveals.

If that wasn’t clingy enough, Rihanna also made efforts to fly halfway around the world just to keep her man in line in person during the holiday break. She has also made sure that she would come back to the United Kingdom just in time for his performance at the O2 Arena.

A pal of the couple reveals to a London rag: ““The reason for her trip to the UK was to keep an eye on Chris … she changed her schedule to see him on the set of his new video. It’s a track called ‘Freeze’ with rapper T-Pain, who likes the ladies.”

“Rihanna knew there would be plenty of girls in the music video, so she asked a member of her entourage to keep an eye on the dancers.”

There has been a lot of hearsay lately about the couple being engaged. Photographs in recent weeks have revealed Rihanna sporting a gigantic and dazzling rock on her ring finger. It’s been said that Chris asked her to be his wife when they were together for a New Year’s Eve performance.

The biggest winners of this year’s American Music Awards are hit R&B couple Rihanna and Chris Brown. Rihanna, famous for hits like “Umbrella” and “Disturbia,” won two awards in the Favorite Soul/R&B Female Artist and Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist categories. On the other hand, Chris took home the awards for Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist, Favorite Soul/ R&B Male Artist, and Artist of the Year.

In terms of their relationship, Chris Brown has said that he’s fond of Rihanna but that, “Our relationship is growing. We started off as friends and we’re getting a little bit closer now… But I don’t want to let down all my girlfriends, so all the ladies out there, I still love y’all!” Dispelling rumors that they’ll be moving in together, the “With You” crooner added, “I’m 19! I barely want my friends to stay over more than three days.”

Meanwhile, Rihanna and Chris Brown have gotten entangled with some paparazzi trouble. Rihanna and Chris Brown are being sued by paparazzo Luis Santana after Rihanna’s bodyguards allegedly beat him and broke his camera. Reports state that, “a photographer with tbt, a St. Petersburg alternative publication, is suing the R&B singers, saying their bodyguards beat him and broke his camera.” The paparazzo filed the $1 million lawsuit, which “also names the bodyguards and a St. Petersburg club where the attack allegedly occurred May 6.” However, Chris Brown’s attorney, Kenneth Meiselas, have said that neither Chris Brown nor his security guards were involved in the incident.

However, the couple’s legal troubles don’t seem to be affecting their star power since they’ve been spotted performing in a variety of gigs. Rihanna and Chris Brown have been touring the world and performing in countries in Asia like the Philippines and Singapore where the Barbados gal performed hits like “Pon de Replay,” “Don’t Stop the Music,” “Take a Bow,” “Shut Up and Drive,” “Good Girl Gone Bad,” “Hate That I Love You,” and “Umbrella.” Chris, who wrote Rihanna’s hit song “Disturbia,” has mentioned that he wrote two songs for Britney Spears. He said, “I actually wrote a couple songs for her (Spears) now. We’re on the same label, so all the executives heard the records and they love the records.”

Rihanna and Chris Brown Clean Up at American Music Awards as they merged as two of the night’s biggest winners. Sunday night (November 23) is a night filled with fabulous celebrity appearances, remarkable performances, and plenty of trophies.
